[ Get A Real Face and Book ]
There’s no doubt that the invention of internet has totally changed our life. At the beginning, we didn’t know anything about internet, and then we learned how to deal with it, but now we are so addicted that we can’t live without internet. A day without googling or facebooking has become unbearable to us.

//Idea
I came out with an idea which reverses the way people meet people on the net. I want to create a way that people find it’s still interesting to meet people in reality world and makes them to experience again “the real world” with “the real things”.

“GET A REAL FACE and BOOK”
I name this project on purpose, making it a bit ironic; kind of like knock on people's head when they see the book. “GET A REAL FACE and BOOK” is not going to replace the internet community, just offer people a chance to remind them the face-to-face, real communication, the old fashion way still exists, and it’s as fun as the internet way.

//Three things about “GET A REAL FACE and BOOK”

[REAL FACE]
Those are real faces in the book, no fake photo, no after-Photoshop photo.
[REAL PEOPLE]
On the net, you can’t feel them, touch them, hear them. But you can now with this book.
[REAL BOOK]
You can take it anywhere without computer, Bluetooth, and it’s definitely wireless!

In this project, I participated in animation, idea development and visual design in Shanghai Moca.

Juice Creative Lab//10 Worst Games

One of the Juice Lab's missions is to the importance of good games. Many gamers have talked about how annoying it is to play a bad game. For example, the gamer might be so angry about the bugs or die in the game without knowing why etc. To issue the problem in gaming world, the members of Juice Lab were joking about making a collection of 10 worst games. That's how the project began.

At the beginning of the project, we had some questions in mind:

Does every game entertain us?

Maybe bad games can entertain us?

We play game only for fun or entertainment? Could it be more?

With these questions above, we started to dig more about the relationships and needs between people and games.

A. Why do people like games?

Juice Lab discovered that games not only mean entertainment to gamers, it could be more, such as a place to escape from reality, a place to build up community, even a life style. As for the reasons of playing games are so different. For example, looking for excitement, gaining satisfaction, dream and desire, or establishing identification to oneself.

B. Facts Behind Good Games:

We had analyzed several good games and consulted with senior gamers, and we discovered the elements of making good games: easy and fun to play, creating happy feelings, balance in winning and losing, emotional excitement, psychological satisfaction.

So what if we reverse the elements??

In order the raise the importance of well-made game, Juice Lab turned 10 classic video games into 10 Worst Games, so everyone can easily and experience the differences between good and bad games. We also redefined the worst game characteristics and added them into 10 Worst Games.

Juice Creative Lab// footbowl

In daily life, there’re a lot of small accidents happening around us, such as breaking glasses, splitting coffee…etc. These little accidents might ruin your day. No one like these “mood-spoiled” moments.

Juice Creative Lab thinks, if we could turn these small accidents into games, they wouldn't ruin our good moods anymore.

That’s why Juice Creative Lab made “FOOTBOWL”, make accident a game!! Because of FOOTBOWL, people are no longer "nervous about accidents", instead, will be "excited about games starting".

Juice Creative Lab// Flip art

Interaction is a huge part of games. Juice Lab believes that interaction is about the experience, and it's not necessary to spend big money to achieve good results.

Flip Art is a project which uses a simple way to create good interaction with people. Like games, the key to success is to make a hook, the desire to play. And the hook in Flip Art is very easy, a simple but attractive sentence and a piece of paper with a hole are enough for curious people to reach out their hands.
